Appia Video Communicator (AVC) Downloads
If you have signed up for AVC or if you have been invited to an AVC session, these resources will help you get started.

- System Compatibility Test — Run our automatic System Compatibility Test to confirm that your computer and network are ready to use AVC.
The AVC application includes a Quick Start Guide and User Guide.
First-Time Users
Once you have successfully downloaded and installed the Appia Video Communicator software (below), follow these steps to start your session:
- Install your camera — make sure that your camera is Windows-compatible
- Open Appia Video Communicator (there will be an icon on your desktop after you install the software)
- Click Rooms
- Click Add
- Enter the information required, provided by your host:
- Video Room ID
- Your PIN
- A Video Room Name (your choice; for your own use)
- Your Screen Name (your choice; will be seen by everyone else in the conference)
- Click Save
- Click Close
- Highlight the Video Room you just created
- Click Call
Download Appia Video Communicator
To download the Appia Video Communicator software, you must first agree to the End User License Agreement.
The United States government regulates all exports and re-exports of U.S. goods and technology. It is Appia's policy to ensure compliance with all United States government laws, regulations, embargoes and sanctions pertaining to exports. Accordingly, a user in the following countries cannot download, and no person or organization may export or re-export, either directly or indirectly, Appia products to U.S. embargoed (or restricted) destinations or entities thereof. Currently, these countries are Cuba, Iran, Iraq, Libya, North Korea, Sudan and Syria.
It is highly recommended that you use Microsoft Internet Explorer version 7 or higher for this download.
